Pricing is a per-file base fee plus a marginal rate applied to output megapixels. Formula: file_price = base_fee + (megapixels × marginal_rate). Base fees range from $250 (Standard tier) to $700 (XL and Architectural). Marginal rates decline from $0.35/MP at Standard down to $0.20/MP at XL and above. See the tier table above for full parameters. Every project starts with a free Sample stage before the paid pipeline begins.
The pipeline handles up to 68,032 × 90,708 pixels at 360 DPI in a single file (XL tier). The Standard tier delivers 17,008 × 45,354 pixels at 360 DPI, matching a standard ceramic slab of 1,200 × 3,200 mm. Standard slabs can be tiled horizontally or vertically to cover any wall size. Files above 6,172 MP output fall into the Architectural tier and are quoted individually.
Yes. Discounts are computed by two criteria and the larger of the two applies. By file count: 3-4 files -5%, 5-9 files -10%, 10+ files -15%. By total output megapixels: 500-1,499 MP total -5%, 1,500-2,999 MP total -10%, 3,000+ MP total -15%. Single-file architectural projects and multi-file batches both receive discounts fairly under this rule.
Three business days from formal quote approval. Multi-file batches (5+ files) may extend by one to two business days depending on total megapixel volume. The pricing calculator provides an instant estimate; a formal quote is issued within one business day of brief submission after human review.
No hidden fees. Minimum viable order is Standard tier: files below 45 MP output are quoted at the Standard tier floor ($266 for a 45 MP file, $250 base plus 45 × $0.35). Consumer-scale upscaling below 45 MP is better served by tools like Upscayl or Topaz Consumer, which are correctly sized for that use case.
TIFF, TIF (preferred), PNG, JPG, JPEG. Photoshop (PSD), HEIC, WEBP, RAW, and PDF-embedded raster are rejected. Flatten and export to one of the accepted formats before submission.
1,024 × 768 pixels. Files below this threshold are rejected at upload with a clear error message. Typical usable source sizes start from 1,920 × 1,080 pixels or higher for meaningful upscale ratios.
No practical limit. Files up to 5 GB use direct browser upload; larger files use multipart upload via presigned URL. Multi-gigabyte source files are supported and common for architectural photography.
RGB and CMYK. Tagged ICC profile is preferred (sRGB, Adobe RGB, ISO Coated v2, Fogra39). Untagged files are processed as sRGB. Bit depth 8-bit or 16-bit; 32-bit HDR is not supported.
Uncompressed TIFF or PNG at 100 percent scale, always at 360 DPI (or the requested DPI at brief submission). BigTIFF is used for files above 4 GB. Source colour space is preserved; embedded ICC profile travels with the file.
Photoshop bicubic upscaling stretches pixels and produces blur along edges and pattern discontinuities across seams. The FRAME01 pipeline reconstructs sub-pixel edges, micro-textures, and geometric integrity across stitched panels without hallucination or seam drift. The technical spec is documented in section 02, Reconstruction Parameters.
Multi-stage AI verification runs at every intermediate output of the pipeline. An operator then reviews and signs off before delivery. Multi-panel montage jobs receive additional quantitative seam alignment against a client-supplied SVG grid, when provided.
No. The pipeline is constrained by source content and does not generate features that were not present. Below the minimum readable threshold (character stroke height of 8-10 pixels for typography), zones are flagged as low-confidence in the delivery report instead of being silently invented.
Yes. AI-generated images are a common input category. The pipeline removes compression artefacts, smooths staircasing on angular edges, and preserves generative micro-detail (skin pores, fabric weave, material grain) at print resolution.
Glyphs are preserved with subpixel geometry reconstruction, not generative substitution. Minimum readable source height for typography reconstruction is 8-10 pixels per character stroke. Below this threshold the delivery report flags low-confidence zones rather than inventing character shapes.
Re-rendering at slab dimensions (17,008 × 45,354 pixels per Standard slab at 360 DPI) can take tens of hours per frame on GPU render farms. Upscaling a lower-resolution render (from 1,920 × 1,080 upward) achieves print-ready dimensions in minutes with geometric integrity preserved. Cost differential is often 1 to 2 orders of magnitude: a Standard-tier upscale starts at $266 against render farm costs measured in hundreds to thousands per hour.
Vector geometry present in the source raster is reconstructed without smearing, provided line thickness is at least 8-10 source pixels wide. Sub-pixel thin lines below this threshold are flagged in the delivery report as low-confidence zones.
Two options at the brief submission page. Simple cutting: enter panel width, height, and count in millimetres, plus optional notes. Advanced cutting: upload an SVG file with the exact panel layout, including door and window cutouts. SVG is preferred for complex or irregular layouts.
360 DPI is the default for slab (large ceramic panel), wide-format print, high-quality indoor decor print, and glass printing (dye-sublimation, ceramic ink). 300 DPI is available for architectural and offset. 200 DPI and 150 DPI are available for distance-viewing outdoor formats (billboards). Higher DPIs above 360 are supported on request but rarely provide visible improvement on ceramic substrates.
Yes. Constraints such as CMYK ink gamut of the print machine, surface finish (polished, matte, lappato), and maximum reproducible pattern repeat can be specified in the brief notes. These influence QC review criteria before delivery but do not alter pricing.
The client uploads the background raster (single file) plus an SVG with the exact panel cutting layout. The pipeline upscales while preserving pattern continuity at panel seams defined in the SVG. Bookmatch layouts (mirror-image adjacent panels) are supported by the SVG grid annotation.
SVG is the primary interchange format for cutting geometry, in 1:1 millimetre scale. On request, a DXF file with layered cut geometry is auto-generated for waterjet and CNC router workflows. Both formats are aligned pixel-precise with the corresponding raster output.
The client retains full intellectual property of both the source file and the upscaled output. FRAME01 does not acquire ownership or licensing rights and does not use client work without explicit written permission. If a specific project is exceptional and the client agrees, FRAME01 may request permission to feature it in internal portfolio or on the site, always subject to written client approval.
Yes. Typical use cases include billboard artwork, wide-format print for building wraps, tram and bus livery, and key visual preparation for integrated campaigns. The 360 DPI standard exceeds all OOH substrate requirements.
Alpha channels are not supported in the current pipeline. Files with alpha are flattened against a white background before processing, and the client is informed of the flattening in the confirmation message. To retain masks, upload the mask separately as a monochrome PNG or TIFF and note the compositing intent in the brief.
The default is 7 days after delivery confirmation, after which files are deleted from all FRAME01 systems. Opt-in extensions available: 90 days (encrypted-at-rest, isolated bucket) or 12 months (requires signed Data Processing Agreement, dedicated bucket, access log preserved).
Signed download link with a default 7-day expiry, transmitted via email to the address on the brief. Cutting map and delivery report included when a cutting specification was provided. Files are hosted on high-performance servers optimised for large-format asset delivery, ensuring rapid download even for multi-gigabyte outputs.
Yes, a two-page DPA template covering UAE, GCC, and EU jurisdictions is downloadable from the footer. The DPA is required for 12-month archive retention and available on request for any project involving regulated or commercially sensitive material.
Two-payment structure: 50 percent deposit after sample approval, 50 percent on delivery confirmation. Payments are invoiced through a UAE-registered entity. Bank transfer, wire, and Wise transfers accepted.
Global service delivery. Primary invoicing jurisdiction is UAE. Data handling complies with UAE PDPL, EU GDPR, and equivalent regulations. Compliance certifications documented in the Data Processing Agreement.
A standard ceramic slab is 1,200 × 2,400 mm to 1,600 × 3,200 mm, produced by industrial ceramic printers as a single continuous surface. The Standard pricing tier covers 17,008 × 45,354 pixels at 360 DPI (1,200 × 3,200 mm), which matches typical large-slab dimensions. Slabs can be tiled horizontally or vertically to cover facade walls of any size.
